WEATHER AND CLIMATE

Cold Weather (Air-conditioning included) and African / Black people type hair is not the best fit ever. Cold weather dries the hair and because this hair texture is already on the dryer side, being drier makes it brittle and so greater hair loss. In extreme weather conditions where a woolen cap or hat is necessary, make sure you first secure your hair with a satin or silk cover/scarf beforehand as the wool will create more friction and too much absorption... 

EXERCISE AND RECREATION

Swimming- Always apply OXX Conditioner in hair before swimming. Hair should be either co-washed with OXX Conditioner afterwards. You may also shampoo with OXX Shampoo and then OXX Conditioner after as chlorine wreaks havoc on hair.
